Day 1 – Athens Arrival

Welcome to Athens, the birthplace of democracy and the intellectual heart of the ancient world. Meet our staff at the airport and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in Athens. The rest of the day is free to explore the city where myth and history intertwine, crowned by the magnificent Acropolis overlooking the modern capital.

Day 2 – Corinth Canal · Epidaurus · Nafplio · Mycenae · Olympia

Depart Athens and head toward the Peloponnese. Stop at the impressive Corinth Canal, a striking engineering achievement linking two seas. Continue to Epidaurus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Sanctuary of Asklepios, where you can trace the origins of early European medicine and admire the ancient open Theater of Epidaurus (4th century B.C.), famous for its extraordinary acoustics.

Continue to the picturesque seaside town of Nafplio, Greece’s first modern capital, before visiting legendary Mycenae (1300 B.C.), another UNESCO World Heritage Site and the kingdom of King Agamemnon. Crossing the scenic countryside of Central Peloponnese, arrive in Olympia.

Day 3 – Ancient Olympia · Delphi

Enjoy a guided visit to Ancient Olympia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the Olympic Games (first held in 776 B.C.). Walk among the ruins of temples and athletic facilities, then visit the Archaeological Museum, home to the famous sculpture of Hermes and the Infant Dionysos by Praxiteles.

In the afternoon, drive through the western Peloponnese and cross the Corinthian Bay via the impressive Rion–Antirion Cable-Stayed Bridge. Continue along the scenic coastal road, passing the charming seaside town of Galaxidi before reaching Delphi.

Day 4 – Delphi · Arachova · Kalambaka

Enjoy a guided visit to Delphi, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, once considered the center of the world by the ancient Greeks. Explore the Temple of Apollo, the Sacred Way, the Theater, the Market, and the famous Omphalos (the “navel of the earth”), followed by a visit to the Delphi Archaeological Museum with its remarkable sculptures.

Afterwards, stop at the traditional mountain village of Arachova for coffee and free time before continuing to Kalambaka, set beneath the towering rocks of Meteora.

Day 5 – Meteora · Leonidas Monument · Athens

Discover Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Greece’s most extraordinary landscapes. Visit two breathtaking monasteries perched atop towering rock formations, offering stunning views and a deep sense of spiritual serenity.

On the return journey to Athens, stop at the Leonidas Monument at Thermopylae, honoring the Spartan king and his legendary stand against the Persian army.

Day 6 – Athens Sightseeing · Acropolis · Acropolis Museum

Explore Athens, the most influential of the ancient Greek city-states, rich in history and modern life. Visit Constitution Square (Syntagma), the Hellenic Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. Watch the Evzones in their traditional uniform at the Presidential Palace.

Continue past Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Ascend to the Acropolis to explore the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the iconic Parthenon. Conclude the tour with a visit to the Acropolis Museum, housing over 3,000 world-renowned artifacts and ranked among the world’s top museums.

After the tour, transfer to Athens airport for flights departing after 17:00, or return to your hotel for an additional overnight stay in Athens.
