Day 1: Athens – Stymfalia lake – Feneos Platou – Doxa Lake – Vytina (_,L,D)
Arrive in Athens. Jeep pick up and drive to mountaineer Corinth. We drive to Feneos area where we have our picnic by Stymphalia lake, known from Hercules myths. After a scenic on / off road driving we reach lake Doxa for coffee. Then we continue with an off road trail via Ladonas river to Vytina for overnight. Dinner at a local tavern
Day 2: Dimitsana – Moni Prodromou – Stemnitsa – Mainalo mountain. (B,L,D)
All day we stay around the area of Loucios river. Drive to Dimitsana and visit water museum and Proodromou monastery. Hinging downhill from Proodromou monastery to Atsilochos bridge and afterword to Elliniko village where we have our lunch. Then we visit the traditional village of Stemnitsa. Drive to Rocabella and crossing the deep forest of Mainalo we arrive back to hotel. Dinner at the hotel or a local tavern.
Day 4: Explore Mani Region(B,L,D)
Today we explore the wild region of Mani. First we visit Diros cave. Boat tour (1hr) to lake cave full of stalagmites and stalactites. We continuous towards pirates port of Mezapos. Short hiking to the famous church Panagia (13 century) on the rocks. Lunch at Porto Kagio fishing port/tavern with a 10 min hiking. Continuous to Psilo Horio and Gerolimenas for a coffee break. Back to our hotel at Limeni. Dinner at a tavern at Aeropolis,
Day 5: Gythio – Monemvasia – Kiparisi – Fokianos beach – Parnonas mnt – Kosmas village (B,L,D)
Today we drive to the Southeast leg of Peloponnese. We continuous our tour to Gythio and then to castletown of Monemvasia (one entrance only). Visit the castle, walk around up to the church of Agia Sofia (11th century) on the upper town quarters with breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea. Lunch at local tavern in the fortress. We continuous to Kiparisi famous village and Fokianos beach. Leaving the beach we climb to Parnonas mountain and driving through the famous chestnut forest we arrive to Kosmas small village for overnight. dinner at a tavern at the square of the village.
Day 6: Dafnon gorge – Moni Elonis – Astro – Nafplio (B,L,D)
We drive in the Dafnon gorge, known for its rich flora and rare species. The gorge starts from the village of Kosmas, passes through the Monastery of Elonis and ends up near Leonidio. On the way we visit the Moni Elonis, built onto a steep rock with spectacular views, hanging on the cliffs above the gorge. Continue driving in the narrow canyon towards Agio Vassilio and Prasto we arrive at Kastanitsa where we have our lunch. Continue to Astros and in the afternoon we arrive to beautiful Nafplio. Walk around in the first capital of Greece after Greeks revolution in 1821 against Turks. Dinner at a tavern with live bouzouki music
Day 7: Nafplio – Palamidi Castle – Epidaurus – Corinth canal – Athens – Departure (B,_,_)
Morning visit Castle of Palamidi. Then drive to ancient theatre of Epidaurus, famous for its acoustic. Later we take the roat back to Athens airport for your flight back home. On the way short stop at Corinth canal.
