Day 1: Rome arrival (_,_,_)

Arrival at Rome Airport, meet with our representative, Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Rome

Day 2: Florence city tour (B,L,_)

Morning driving on “Sun Route” motorway, we arrive to Florence. The city was the cradle of the Renaissance and its art and beauty have drawn travelers for centuries. Guided visit of the city. The Duomo, the Third “Pietà” by Michelangelo, the Baptistry with the golden bronze doors by Ghiberti, Giotto’s Belfry, the Museum of the Accademia with the David by Michelangelo, Piazza della Signoria, uffizi. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Late in the afternoon we arrive to Venice. Overnight in Venice

Day 3: Venice city tour (B,L,_)

In the morning, guided visit of the city: Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, Piazza San Marco and the Duomo. Lunch in a typical restaurant and free time. Early in the afternoon we start our trip back to Rome. Overnight in Rome

Day 5: Free day in Rome (B,_,_)

Free day to explore the historical city on your own

Day 6: Naples Pompeii – Bari – Ferry to Greece (B,_,_)

After breakfast taking autostrada del Sole, we arrive to Naples where we’ll have a short panoramic tour of the city: the pier of Santa
Lucia with its impressive Castel dell’Ovo, the historical center Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, the San Carlo Opera House, the Gallery of Umberto I and the imposing Maschio Angioino. After the lunch break we will visit the excavations of this world-famous Roman town Pompeii, destroyed by the eruption of the Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. In the afternoon we take the Ferry from Bari to Igoumenitsa Greece. Overnight on board.

Day 7: Ioannina, Metsovo, Thessaloniki (B,_,D)

Morning arrival at Igoumenitsa. Drive in Egnatia high way to the beautiful city of Ioannina. Walk around the lake and the craft market. Then drive to Thessaloniki with a short stop to the traditional village of Metsovo. Upon arrival to Thessaloniki guided tour, Rotonda, Galerius’ Arch, Kastra and city walls, White Tower from outside, St.Dimitrious Byzantine church. Transfer to hotel. In the evening walk to Ladadika for dinner at Greek tavern with Greek dishes and wine. Optional with Greek bouzouki music

Day 8: Daily excursion to Venice OR Florence (B,L,_)
Venice. Morning transfer to Venice by train. Guided city tour.
Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, Piazza San Marco and the Duomo. Lunch in a typical restaurant and free time. In the evening return to Rome
